G Stone, now aren't you acting supercilious.Obviously, you failed to read my apology to Lotus-7, and then I further explained the reason for my initial response and then I answered his as well as ICUR1-2 questions. Not from just making an asshole statement, but by actually using my training and experience.

I dont like to insult anyone,if I do,I am not afraid to apologize. However, I do indeed take offense to your response.I did my job and treated people like I wanted to be treated. And I almost paid the ultimate price. To say "They are God's and never error" is obnoxious and distasteful. You sound like you have a chip on your shoulder- the presence of the keyboard makes it very easy.

No you dont have to Obey every word. But,you do have to obey some. Maybe you KNOW what THEY are by experience. I try to explain my opinions, either about Model Helicopters or in this thread-talking about the use of force with my knowledge,if I dont know- I say so.

I stated my prior career- what have you done?

I dont write the laws- the political elite take care of that. A sworn oath makes you responsible to enforce them. Those that arent( responsible AND professional) represent a miniscule percentage of the total. Maybe you got a parking ticket? You say you dont hate cops but your TONE does. The laws arent clear cut and dont fit every imaginable situation. As a Police Lieutenant, I was resonsible for my entire shift. I believe in training and education. As well as treating people fairly and allow the use of descretion where allowed.

Unfortunately some people just act like asses, and that isnt necessarily against the law. But sometimes it is. Funny though,I could never answer this question. Why are the people ,that hate the Police the ones most likely to need them to keep the peace in their lives?

Frankly, I gave it my best- and since I am still breathing,it must have been good enough. Remember, first impressions are usually accurate.I've never hijacked your threads. You must have a reason for your vitreolic comment- right?Im sure you see my point. Afterall, didnt you want a certain member to STFU as well as asking Mark Ryder to ban him. Supercilious IMHO. Hope you just had a bad day and tommorrow will be better.

I'm not acting anything.
I stated my prior career- what have you done?
Well, the area that gives me expert advice on NJ Police is my CDLA. I've spent years driving back and forth across NJ and seeing all the Black people chained to the guard rails as you guys destroyed their cars. Sometimes it goes on for hours. But I guess both Eric Holder and I have a "chip" on our shoulders. If you didn't do it, you have certainly seen it and looked the other way.
Afterall, didnt you want a certain member to STFU as well as asking Mark Ryder to ban him.
I was quoting him. You need to work on your reading comprehension.
Hope you just had a bad day and tommorrow will be better.
Me too, I'm dieing slowly and wasn't sure if I would be able to post today. I made it through the night. I hope to fly some today. Yesterday sucked.
Thank You for your concern.

If he is high...
Then he is just rolling in endorphins and adrenalin. Exactly like Arclight said. His pain centers are most likely on shutdown and therefore he has stupid strength. The pain centers are what set most of our limits for any kind of physical action. This man's system was most likely dumped for days afterwards when he came down. Pain type compliance techniques WILL NOT work here. The only thing you can use, if deadly force isn't an option, is numbers, equals more officers. The unknown factor here is there is no way to tell how he is going to react to those nonlethal methods beforehand, but you have to use them if at all possible before the last resort of deadly force. If you will notice most of the situations of deadly force applied first, is usually of single officer units. Not always, but more than 50% of the time, numbers, make a difference.

My 2 cents.
