This is a email i recieved from the new Ma owners...
Below please find the information about your parts:
Ma 131-1, will be available in about 2 weeks
Ma 131-17-B, in stock
Ma 131-18-B, will be available in about 4 weeks
Ma 131-380, in stock
The 131-17 and -18 will not be available any longer. These gears are replaced by the new 131-17-B and -18-B, CNC machined gears made from aluminum and delrin. These new gears should be used only together.

Please let me know in which country you are living so I can tell you where you can purchase the parts.
Kind Regards Josef Schreiner Miniature Aircraft USA

Hello Josef,

Bill here. I'm a little out of touch. Do you have an affiliation with the new owners of MA?

The fact that MA parts are becoming available again is really good news. I spent the day with my Tempest and while I enjoyed the time, I couldn't help but wonder how many hours I could put on my heli without eventually needing parts.

MA131-17 and MA131-18 = Tail gears. -B notes noted.

MA131-380 = Struts.

This is good news though and going by the email I received from him they are getting near to sorting the OWB issue with prototypes of new pinions and a new clutch in production.

Shame I sold my Whiplash Nitro if this is going to be sorted.

Thanks Carey... I wondered - but was caught off by the Bristol Connecticut address.

Again, thanks Carey. I knew the new owners were German but Josef's RunRyder presence says Connecticut. Hence my confusion. Now I know. Josef now added to buddy list (you were already on it)!

Cheers,

Bill

When I got my new gears, I think the package had the MA131-17B as the aluminium and MA131-18B delrin.
