Has anyone else heard anything about Thunder Tiger bringing back the G4.1 Nitro soon? Could this be possible or is it really just a rumor with no guts?

They must be hearing the reverberations of all the complants of the loss of one the favorite helis lines in our hobby. I learned to fly big helis on Raptors and still have them. Dont fly them any more because of the lack of parts support so they now serve duty as scale helis mostly for display. I dust them off now and then for scale fun flys and events.

Ace Dude, you are right. There is a thread running in Thunder Tiger forum as we speak. Some, myself included, have asked for a source for this rumor there with no answers. I brought this question to the main forum because of higher traffic. If there is any basis, someone will know. The community is not large enough for info to hide from everybody.
This is a subject near and dear to my heart.....and certainly others.

I have heard the same information as ssrobzoom!
From a good source, there is word that it will be back!
Looks like our outcry will be responded to.

Same here. Although I don't have a G4.1, I do have an E720 and the two share many parts.

I have reason to believe that there should be an announcement coming in the near future as to production resumption.

Maybe a rethink
with the slowdown on mainland China, maybe the big robotics move is slowing and they have to rethink how they got to where they were/are.

I'm a messenger.

I am no ones fool. I don't joke. I don't play.
This is a message relayed from someone in the know.
I understand, that as happened to Dr. Ben, I could be passing on data that is not accurate. It is what I was given from a reputable source.
I choose to be excited. Your mileage may vary.

SSSmmmoookkkeee Blower!!!!

Hey Wayne I'm just kidding. I hope you're right. I hope TT is bringing back some of their best loved helis.

I just got back from a Sunday bit of flying with my friends. I had a ball beating my Tempest FBL and Thunder Tiger 30. Yes I said it. I had a really great time with my Thunder Tiger 30. The little OS .37HZ was just singing along. The flybar was flying in all directions! Nothing was going very far or very fast but I had a blast anyway. And a tank of fuel was 11+ minutes.

I don't suppose that kit (or engine) is coming back any time soon. Sad. I think the hobby needs it.

I had heard the same at IRCHA, but if they don't lose the $50 tail boom, $2x.00 TT, $30 boom braces, and $22 worth of TT bearings (AKA a boom strike repair) and figure out a way to apply the E700 mfg and pricing structure to other kit parts, they'll piss in the wind yet again. TT's upper mamagement has no patience for poor kit sales, so if it sells no better than the last kit (same issue happened with the E820), it'll be gone again in a blink of an eye.

Rumors
At this point, even rumors give me hope. It would be a great thing if they brought the G4/e720 frames back. The parts cross kits for compatibility. And these machines are smooth and reliable. Great models no matter what company built them. Yes, TT support sucks, but look at the company of origin. They are a company designed to make profit, not friends. I am with Ben...bring the parts prices on the tail down and its already a winning design. But, the 10 of us still flying them won't keep a company solvent in our Dark economic times.

When you are eating more BS than you are comfortable with, AND, you call them out on it, is that hostile? Some eat BS, Some don't.

Best quote by far

Thunder Tiger and HRP deserve what they got, they have EARNED it.

Their equipment seems just fine, it's management that needs to learn how to fly right.

Still flying my E550.

Sorry about chopping up your post but it all seemed so relevant to the situation.
