I am assuming the setup file is from a model you are currently flying but have made changes since saving the setup? If you haven't made any changes then just bind and fly after setting up switches and apps you have already.

All you need to do is hook the tx up to your pc and copy the contents off.

When you get your new tx you will be able to copy the setup file to it, creating any necessary folders structure as it is now.

Not from a model, the model info is stored in the Vbar itself. Im thinking switch assignments, telemetry settings, ect...

Hook old tx to pc. As you know it registers as a removable drive. Copy the full contents to somewhere on your fixed hard drive.

Hook up new tx and do a comparison of the files and see if you can work out the differences or if there is a tx setup file in there somewhere.

Thanks guys, I ended up sending the radio off to its new owner today. I thought it might be an easy task so I figured I'd ask. I looked at all the files when I connected the USB and nothing looked like a system file. Its not a big deal, the radio is pretty simple

I can always hook it up and email what you need if we figure out where it is stored.

Its here! Looks even cooler in person
I think this is about the coolest radio for a mechanical geek like me. Who needs to know how everything is together and how it works

Nice! I'm enjoying your old one. Does that light up? I saw some pics of one with all sorts of lights in it.

That clear one does look nice. So basically if you want to get a different color you'd have to redo all heli setups on the new one.

No, everything is kept in the Vbar. The only thing you need to do is bind them to the new tx and tell the TX which switch is which. Takes maybe 5 min to switch.

No, they stay the same as they are stored in the VBAR. You just need to reassign switches and calibrate is all

That is the beauty of Control, if you want to fly someone else heli, just bind and fly....the switches stay the same for you and their VBAR stays the same....you get a true feel for someone else's heli

That control setup is genius. I've only had my vControl for a week and I really appreciate how all of those settings are part of the transmitter. I've setup 2 gas planes and 2 Helis and the switches operate identically on all of them. Really makes setup quick and general use very consistent.

As others stated, no. Once you rebind the Vbar even the old model name shows up!

Just wait until you get into the pro aux channels and macro-cells. There are infinite possibilities.
