I tried to remove the blade gripes but the bolts won't budge. I don't know what Align uses for thread locker but it works really well. Any ideas on how to get them loose? If I try any harder I'm afraid I'll twist off the head of the bolts. Thanks for your help.

Heat will do it, but which bolts are you talking about. From the feathering shaft?

Yes the bolts in the ends of the feathering shaft. It has plastic blade grips, how much heat can they take? What would work best, hair drier, heat gun?

please post a picture and what version do you have execaly. I don't remember platic grips on a dfc model. You should not worry about striping screws. You also can heat up the wrench it self to try to break the loc-tight.

You must have the rtf 450dfc.

Use the newest allen wrenches or allen drivers you have. I've never had to but do you have fine tip soldering iron? If you have the nerves and a pointy enough soldering iron, you could try heating up one of the screws to loosen up the locktite.

Butter burgers and frozen custard.
Make sure you use the best allen wrenches or Allen drivers you have. I have a set expressly for this one task. I hope you'll post back with how it goes.
