Back when I flew Kalt gassers, I made my own. I used a JR 88 tooth main gear and put a Miniature Aircraft crown gear for the tail drive on top of it with an aluminum spacer between. I converted my other Kalt gasser to belt drive tail and never had any more gear troubles.

Jerry how many teeth do you need?

and Pinions?

I have a few old Kalt bits - can you post a picture of what you are looking for.

I just figured out that it was a Century crown gear that I used for the Kalt. Not a Miniature Aircraft.

Hi thanks for the reply , I will have a look at the Miniature aircraft crown gear .
I have two blown main gears that I could convert that way.
Unfortunately my "Cobra" needs to be a flexible drive ,my intention I to build up enough spares to keep the "Cobra" flying forever

The gear I have doesn't have the crown gear..

The machine looks like a scratch built!

the seller on ebay, Eddie, has loads of used and new spares, for all types of machines in particular some of those no longer in production, I have used him for xcell parts, he is a good seller and very reliable..

Those gears are Mod 1, 88 teeth. The built in crown gear for the tail is what makes the unique.
