Wow, looks like this was one for the record books!! Tons of beautiful helis and a super nice crew. I saw a few of the west coast's "usual suspects" in some of the pics. So sorry to see Emiles 407 went in, but it happens to all of us... With his mad building skills, it WILL fly again.
Barry

P.S Darrell, have you been working on the turbine nose for my S58T?

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

Wow! What, and I mean WHAT a weekend!!!! My first Dalton, and boy was it well worth the drive. Darrell is the most gracious host, and the entire group of attendees were nothing but super nice, super friendly and super awesome. An amazing group of people, amazing pilots and amazing machines. Simply awesome! Leaving Dalton with a HUGE smile on my face.

Next year will be even more fun!!!

Dalton 2015 is in the books. Darrell as usual is an awesome host and event director but that's nothing we don't already know. Joe Howard, thank you again and again for the awesome steak dinner and also to all the guys who did the work to prepare the food to feed us.
as always a great event and if you missed it you missed a great time. I had a blast as usual even though I wrecked my beloved 407, but after getting a chance to look it over, its in even better shape than I thought and will be back in the air sooner than one may think. on a positive note, the crash earned me the "best Crash" award. this machine just keeps bringing home a trophy even when it has a flight that ended badly! its definitely a keeper!
So many new faces I had the pleasure to meet and especially Rich and Ed, finally meeting you guys in person was a special treat considering we have been communicating here for well over a year.
seeing you and rich play the 407 games without my participation did suck, but I did enjoy watching you two have all the fun .
next year will be another chance hopefully. for those who have been skeptical about attending, its a no brainer and even the spouses and significant others will enjoy it, I know mine did.

UIH,

As said by Emile, what a great event as always. Darrell certainly puts on a good time and keeps us well fed. As always Joe sends us out with a bang for Saturday evening supper.

It was great to met many first timers which will surely return and to catch up with many folks we have not seen in some time.

We hope everyone has safe travels home over the next few days.

Hey all:

It was great to see y'all down there. Thanks a ton for the pictures taken by the real shutterbugs amongst us. You can be sure that Mark was way more nervous about my flying that 47 than I was. I had a ball with it and can't thank him enough. It's a pussy cat compared to the 3rd scale Robinson. We'll see everyone next year.

For those of you who took the time to take and post pics, thank you. Bunch of great shots. Also, thanks for not posting a video of the Bell 47 with the moving pilots. Those guys give me the creeps every time I see them. And now there are two guys in the heli! Freaky.
