Depends which side your looking at it from.

Tail blades are on the left of the boom and looking at it from the left side they should be going clockwise.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

do i need to reverse the tail gyro or the rudder ?

which way should the tail pitch slider move when i give right rudder input ?

The way I do it is I give rudder input to the right, for example ..... The leading edge of the tail rotor blades need to point to the right as well .... Just like increasing the pitch on a propeller .... The tail of the heli will move to the left , nose to the right ....

Once you have that correct then you check the gyro direction to give you the opposite movement for correction.... Swing the tail to the right , you should see the gyro correction to give left input ....

You have set up a flybarless unit , right ??? No difference....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Looking from the back of the heli the pitch slider goes left to make the heli turn right.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

The tail pitch slider on either my Min Air [left side tail blades] and my Align 550 [right side tail blades] both go to the left to make the heli turn right. Both tails spin the same direction. If looking at the left side of the heli the tail spins clockwise on both helis. If looking from the right side they both spin counter clockwise. The tail blades twards the front of the heli [in front of the tail shaft are always going UP towards or into the main rotors downdraft.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

Pretend the bottom blade is a boat rudder and it is steering a boat.

Makes it easier to visualize what is happening.

Hope this helps.
