Synergy Speed
Looking into the Synergy Speed kit. What would be the best motor and ESC for this helicopter, in relation to flying speed runs?

Thanks

If you want to go really ballistic I would go with a Kontronik drive set. Kosmik 200 and a Pyro 750. In my opinion the efficiency and quality are unmatched.Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

No question on ESC. You'll want a K200 with some kind of fan to go as hard as the motor as capable. In that config it will push over 300 amps during a pass without shutting down. The Comp Pyro 750 is the one to purchase.

If you choose a Scorpion motor, you really need to get the correct information for how to optimize the Kosmik for those motors. Don't just hook it up and go.

Either one. The Comp might edge it out slightly but the price difference is substantial.Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Actually the standard 750 and other larger motors are hand wound in house by KT. The comp motors are done specially outside of the factory. The wire in the comp motor is larger in diameter. It is therefore able to deliver maximum continuous power at higher amps with greater efficiency and less heat.
