1.4 settings on Trex 700n
Just getting around to updating my 700N to 1.4. Just looking for suggestions on the settings for radio gain and such. Heli flew great on 1.31 so not sure what to expect on the factory 1.4 settings.

Fly the stock settings and use the manual guidelines for set up. Fly the model and assess performance and then come back to me with questions if it is doing anything you either don't like and would like to change to suit your tastes. Tail gyro is the same.

I will tell you ahead of the game to make sure you choose whatever servo wheel diameter you need to achieve 10-11 degrees of cyclic at 55-68% static cyclic as measured in sws.rate mode/screen.

Ben,
I followed the setup and got the sws at 68%, 10.5* cyclic, and the pitch is at 50%, 12* pitch. This is a first run 700N that I converted to fbl. Using the metal align servo wheels links on inner holes. I think everything else is good. Just checking to see if I had to change a setting other than those.
I'll fly it and see how it is.

Those numbers look good. Follow the tuning notes in the manual, and we'll work from tbere.

Also read this: http://rc.runryder.com/t787632p1/

There is a lot of info on tuning order and what to do to fix certain adverse behaviors if present. The 750 plays well in a 700N.
