I grew up at this lake and just a couple of months ago it was only 9% full and was considered a dead lake. And just like that God filled that sucker up. So, I took my drone up there and did a short little video.

Very nice footage.

Is that a leak through the dam wall at 1:51? I don't know much about dams but that would worry me.

I saw that too and thought the same.

Have not seen anything on the news about a dam breaking so I guess its not a big deal.

Yes the Dam has a leak and I too saw that. It has had one for a long time. I never understood why the Army Core of Engineers did not fix that when the lake had no water in it for the last eight years. I guess they did not figure it would fill up.

Yes shot at 23.98(24fps) Some have asked what I shot this on. I was gone to shoot it on my S900 Rig, but winds where blowing around 25 mph and I wanted to see how well the DJI Inspire would handle it. It did a awesome job in the wind and was only the second time I have flown with it. The 4K footage is a bit more compressed than I like. I love the 4K footage I get with G4 on S900. But, Hands down better than the crap I have gotten off the GOPRO. The Inspire is a fantastic. I have some footage that we flew filming some wheat harvester that is even better.

Beautiful!

Excuse my ignorance, but what camera is used. i see you mention a G4...is that a camera?

Also, do you use any post filming software to stabilize the image?

It is very well done!

Last question, what is the name of the music, it is very powerful?

No, shot with DJI Inspire 4K camera. G4 is a 4K DSLR that Panasonic makes that I fly on my S900. Which is a awesome camera and much better results than the cam on the Inspire. But, the cam on the Inspire is way better than a GoPro! No stabilization was done to any of these shots. The music is from a sound library that we use Stephen Arnold Music, the track is called a New Day Dawns.

I was just in Houston a few weeks ago with a Medevac Blackhawk to help with the flooding problem. TX has a lot more water than normal right now, that's for sure.
