fbl controllers[/quote]What gyro control unit can I use that's not to expensive that I can get away With. Budget $60
Gray,I can confidently tell you, that the clone controllers work great for $50 to $60 range. The the thee controllers that have and still work flawlessly (going on 4years of use)are the hobbymate hb800,Vctrc 3gx,and the tarot zyx.The hb800 and vctrc controllers are clone versions of the microbeast(v1) that cannot be updated on the firmware, but they both program the exact s
ame way(letters in the function and parameters are the same for programming, even manuals say the same thing)just the layout is different (hb800 has 2 circles of letters with lights)(vctrc has them in 2 rows vertically)both have the 3 compensation dials at the top.The tarot zyx is computer programmable(in fact it is easier on pc cuz you can see all the settings)and can be updated. It does have many more features then the other 2,but they all are great. They all are rated for 250 to 700size helis,I have used then on 450s and currently on 550 and 600's with 0 issues. They are so simple to program, and suite most peoples flying level anyways.I have a tarot zyx,but at the time when I started in helis,I didn't know what all the extra settings were for.It seemed to complicated back then, but now I'm thinking of finishing the programming and trying it out on my 550 dfc,I don't know,I may try it on a 550l dominator instead. There are many people using them and love them.
The tarot is only $40 or 50,so that may be the best bang for the buck for you.I'm only making good suggestions to you, simply based on my experiences with them.Btw I also have a ar7200bx which as you probably know,is the v2 microbeast. The clones program and work the same as the ar does(just to let you know in comparison) I hope this info helps you decide, but you won't go wrong with any of the 3 I mentioned,I promise.Good luck with whatever you do brother.
