Tail issue with different blades
Hello all. I have been able to pick up one of these 180 CFX helis and I am VERY impressed with it so far with only a couple of flights. But here is my question. I am using stock setup with bullet blades. Flys very stable and well. My tail gyro sensitivity is set to 50% as instructed to do. I took off the bullet blades and put on a set of Rakon Heli plastic blades and now my tail is very loose? I tried raising the gain but no effect. I put the bullet blades back on and it flies just fine. Can anyone help me with this? As of right now I don't need to fly other blades but I am a moderate 3D pilot and would like to fly the regular blades for better performance.
Did he crash? Dang I missed it!

You could try the carbon fiber blades from horizon. They are much quicker than the stock bullet blades. IMHO.Have fun, Fly safe!!

thanks
I appreciate that but I am really trying to figure out what happened with the tail when I switched blades. Is it just a gain issue? I raised the gain up to 80% but with no effect.

I am having tail issue my situation is the same but similar to adjustment. It seems like my radio does not control the tail at all. I run my gain from 0-100 with no affect. What's up with that?Fly hard, Land safe

Have you checked the CG and balance on the blades?

Than it's safe to say the tail might be bent. Please inspect carefully. Try to go through everything after any incident, it's part of the hobby.

A good habit to practice ... so once you get the bigger heli(s), it will be common practice.

I know and you are absolutely right and I have done well with my bigger Helis with over 2300 flights thus far. However, I miss typed, I meant to say main blades instead of tail. What is still puzzling me is the fact that I just can't adjust the gyro rate from my radio.Fly hard, Land safe
