I have a trex 250 dfc with the 3gx. The problem I am having is anytime I attempt to take off/ hoover the heli always wants to tip of to the right at at a tail in orientation. I have gone over the 3gx set up and it seems to be working properly. I am a noob to the 3gx though. Any help would be appreciated. The 3gx is currently set up with a spectrum satellite, and the hell has all of the stock electronics and components.

Almost any time an FBL heli (regardless of what FBL controller it is) wants to tip on takeoff, it's a vibration issue.

i hace gone through the hell looking for vibrations, and I can't seem to locate any. when looking at the hell from nose in and you tilt it slightly to the right which way should the swash plate move.

The swash plate should always try to stay level with reference to the horizon. As you tilt the helicopter, the swash plate should correct in the opposite direction you're tilting it so that it can stay level.

Oh yeah, that's no good! Sorry, I've never set up a 3gx so I'm not familiar with setting the gyro directions. I'm sure there are some good setup videos on Youtube, though. Sorry I can't be more help with that part of it.

Swashplate needs to move in the opposite direction of the tilt. Tilt the heli to the left, the swash needs to tilt right. Tilt the heli to the right, the swash needs to tilt left.

Tilt nose down, the swash needs to tilt nose up. Tilt nose up, the swash needs to tilt nose down.

Go back through the DIR setup process. Set up all four parameters correctly. Elevator limit, elevator direction, aileron limit, aileron direction.

Those initial steps are simple and easily done. And essential.

Thanks for all of the help. I went back through the set up in the DIR mode and got everything fixed and working correctly.
