How many times have you gone for a day out flying and had to take loads of equipment, fuel, batteries etc etc, not to mention the models.
We'll it was annoying me some what so I thought I'd do something about it, and this is what I have designed, it all comes apart and flat packs nicely into my car, the trolley itself get strapped to the roof of my car, all my kit and models fit in the car as well, then when at site I just put it together, put all the stuff on it and off I go.

I did a test run last night with 3 Heli's and 3 planes plus loads of kit and it worked great.
No stress at all, very sturdy, easy to move and assemble.

What do you guys think?

Over the next few weeks I'm going to be putting a motor on the back wheels and a big fat servo on the front to steer it and then control it from my transmitter.

thats cool...

I have one of those folding carts I picked up at Dicks sporting goods.

but what I still find very annoying is that my stuff bounces around so much cause the field I fly at is very rough and the cart has no suspension. sometimes when I get to my flying spot I have the blade holders all fallen off, and my helis are all hitting each other and sometimes my fuel jug is leaking out the vent.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

What I plan to do is get a piece of think foam and cut it to the size of the trolley, then cut out the shapes of my fuel cans and tool boxes etc so that when it is all bouncing around the foam holds it in place. It's a cheap and easy way to get over that problem.
As for the helis, well they are all up the top there and Secured so I don't have any problems with them.

Give that a go, might help.

Hahaha wrongler, I figured if I'm going to fly any plan it has to be the daddy of all planes!

I lift it onto the car, I do admit it can be a pain in the arse, but where there's a will there's a way!

Very simple to make. Holds heli's secure over rough terrain. Cargo net on bottom for storage. Magnetic tool strip on side. Convert's to a work table. Light weight. Wont tip over. Keeps heli's secure in car. Best thing is it saves my back....

Yeah that's great for one model but I take about 6 when I go flying so I needed something bigger to take everything. As for the c.o.g, when is fully loaded threes quiet a bit of error in the trolley so it counter balances the height. I've used it already and it works great.
