thunder power no help
After a few days waiting for an email reply from thunderpower, I'm giving up and more than likely will never buy these lipos again.

Not very impressed with their customer service for such expensive lipos. One would think they would back up their products with a great CS."R.I.P Roman" Citizen 0094 in the Nation

Did you call them? I don't believe email is a very effective way to communicate problems with a product. To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

yea i say there lack of support is their biggest downfall and i dont think they hold up under load like the pulse packs do plus they are 25% cheaper then tp Trex600n,Trex500,MR25,MikadoLoGo5003d/KDE,Goblin 380XNova,CastleCreations,Ys,JR XG8,Tags Mini XBus Dmss//FAA# FA3NYC9TAP

i ordered a set of 6600 70c 6s packs for my trx800 off them, thinking i was going to get them for the weekend and paid for 2 day shipping not only did i not here from them i got no reply when shipped or anything after a week i called them, they said we dont stock those (this would have been nice to know in the first place) and we use fresh packs when making them , again it should have been listed in there dscription before anyone orders these. the guy told me but i will put a rush for you so you can have them next week...

well next after 2nd week still nothing i called back and looked into it again and they couldnt tell me when i will get them so i immediately cancelled the almost $800.00 order for 2 batterys.

still would love to try them but like Qrrambero said

they are a little slow, sometimes unresponsive to emails. Phone calls work really well, IMO. Also, if you join the TP buyers club, you get 25% off, so really, they are on par, price wise, with Pulse, and have a higher C rating.Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

I have been a loyal tp lipo user for many years but I will never buy another one. my batteries were getting a bit tired ( actually they had been tired for quite a while but I am stubborn) and I e mailed them to ask If I could replace them for this season with their discount program , I was told unless I have a receipt that there was nothing they could do, I don't keep 2 year old receipts and the hobby store I bought them from has recently changed hands and they don't have old records, tp wouldn't listen and wouldn't do anything without a receipt, so there exchange plan for me at least is useless.
I have been using pulse batteries since and find that they hold their power for a lot longer, the tp's were tired after around 3 months but I kept using them for sport flying, imho pulse is far superior

Date of purchase is important to prove for redemption of a manufacturer's warranty. I wouldn't fault them there.

I used to buy TP only when I was starting with electric helis. However in 3 consecutive years I had a different TP pack lose a cell every winter while in storage charge. The first 2 were Rx packs. The last one was a 70c 6s 5000mah pack that I had bought in August of 2013, put less than 50 cycles on it, and then winter came so I put it into storage charge.
When I checked the cell voltages in January 2014, the pack had lost a cell that had climbed to almost 4.3v on its own!
The local dealer wouldn't replace it and sent me to deal with TP directly. They wanted half the original price to replace it (which was close to FULL price of a Pulse) and for me to send a possible fire hazard through the mail to them.
I have never had a problem with a Pulse pack and will never waste my money on TP again.

I have a few TP packs that I used and are pretty old now. I have one or two that I purchased and never got around to installing connectors. Those are probably no good now either. With the price of batteries getting lower I'm just going to put them in the recycle bin or use them for something else other than in my helis if I can. I.e my starter for my nitro helis or my starter box for my buggy.

I wasn't asking for a warranty replacement but they do offer a discount to replace old batteries , they are tp branded so I would expect them to honor there own marketing with or without a receipt

What happens if I purchase their item locally and all I get is a CC reciept? What does that prove? This has happened to me. Or the store wasn't an authorized dealer. How should know that? And as posted earlier, who keeps receipts for such a long time?

exactly , that's why I won't use tp any more , at least with other batteries I know what i'm getting , and I have had batteries replaced by tp before so I don't know what their problem is
