This is a very terrible decision on TT's behalf, I am truly pissed off about this.

If I had seen this a month ago I probably would have bought the Synergy instead of the x50. Oh well, it's still a beautiful machine and I guess I will just have to snag up parts when I see them.

If anyone is thinking that Thunder Tiger is getting out of the heli business, you are incorrect. They will be releasing three new models within a few months.

Just like the spare parts that were held at the dock during the port strike.

This reminds me of the Monty Python episode about the "dead parrot".
The shop keeper insisted that the parrot "is NOT dead".

I keep hitting the online stores for model parts. Increasingly it
feels like the Monty Python cheese shop skit.

Have you tried to buy blades lately? Have you tried to buy ANY parts for a nitro heli lately?

"Ho -no, no, no. Don't tell me. I'm keen to guess."
"Have you got any expecting the answer no".

This was about the worst decision ever. Who is going to upgrade just to be told that the upgraded bird won't be supported a few years from now?!

You expect us to take this at your word? Not that a descriptor of "foreseeable future" bears anything. The X50 barely has the newness wore off of it! You just left a bunch of folks hanging. So wrong.

There will be a reckoning, in the form of lost loyalty.

It blows my mind the decisions this industry makes. It's like intentional suicide. I can't even get mad, though. It's so bewildering it's actually sort of interesting.

I have a longer post elsewhere but my conjecture is that it went basically like this:

- we like the margins on our premium prices.
- oops, we're not the premier elite alternative in electrics; volumes way down
- try a lower-margin heli/parts pricing mix with a lot of promotion (E700)
- nope, we don't like lower margins
- let's move on to focus on other stuff
- try not to hose the entire brand

that is, "environment issues" means "competitive environment issues."

oops, bounced it!
