Several good choices out there...I use Phoenix and RF.

I like RF better - mostly because it has many more helis to choose from. Phoenix seems to be stuck in the past...with mostly nitro and flybarred helis.

Just an opinion...use it as you see fit.

Real Flight 6.0 or better and you can not go wrong.

Only downside for most users is their PC isn't able to process the RF Software. SIM's are very resource intensive programs ... Much like gaming, so a fast System is preferable. You don't neccesarly have to go out and buy a new computer. I'm using a 2008 HP AMD 2.2ghz small platform computer for past 3 yrs ... AOK!!!

For "me" ...
- physics is realistic
- agility is excellent
- I learned everything on and only fly the Gaui X5 FES
- didn't have to tune anything

Was able to make a 1 to 1 translation to real life on my Logo 500

Using RF7.5 now. I've tried others and always came back to RF. From ver6 on, it's not as much of a resource hog as it used to be. It's mainly the graphics card, not your processor that will determine how well it will run.....or you can just turn down the eye-candy.
Physics-wise, RF beats Phoenix hands down....especially in any movement along the vertical/collective axis.

Get RF and it will serve you well.
