Gy520 tail wag during climbout
I am chasing a gyro issue and narrowing it down. When i do a right hand bank, the tail begins to ossilate; just on a faster right hand turn. I did a slow climb-out today and no issue. When i do a hard climb-out the tail shakes. It is a Gy520 and was in HH. The heli is a 90 size with a torque tube. Is this a gain issue?

I would say gain unless it started all of a sudden.E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

Concur.
Make sure the model is trimmed out in rate mode too.

You ought to be in the 50-60% gain range depending on servo and tail blades. If not, go in a hole on your tail servo arm.

Sounds like a gain issue unless this problem just started. What does it do in fast backwards flight? It will wag every time if the gain is too high. I set my gain based on how the heli flies in fast backwards flight.

It's always done it during a bank. Just recently tried a hard climbout. Would i increase the gain?Team HeliProz - Retired

Decrease the gain to get rid of the wag. Increasing would make it worse. What is the gain set at now?
