So what was the issue, did theoverspeed rip the blade in half? Seconly, asuming not inverted, why do the manuver and how do you do it; just get up real high and dive to the ground full speed?Team HeliProz - Retired

Are you saying the blade uses faux carbon fiber?

**im telling you they use a carbon fiber and fiberglass for there cf sheets,, other companys do this as well and i understand due to cost, but blades cf seem more brittle than the others...

So what was the issue, did theoverspeed rip the blade in half? Seconly, asuming not inverted, why do the manuver and how do you do it; just get up real high and dive to the ground full speed?

**i took off high till the heli was about a nat , then pulled her back and started the nose dive landing gear facing me, and had netural pitch , let her fall ,, and about half way is when the blades sped up and sounded almost like a vacuum , then when i got to where i thought the heli was low enough ( about "12) i pulled the nose of the heli up a bit so the nose was now at about funnel angle , and gave her full neg pitch,,, and at that point i heard a bam , and i dont remm how the heli looked at that point because alot happend in a short amount of time, but i hit "TH" as i ducked and i heard the engine cut, then i hard a crash and a smack,, i guess the "crash" was the heli slamming into my charge box , and the "smack" was the heli hitting the building ... and the rest is history ,, ,,
so why did the heil blow up?? was it a bad blade? shaft? screw? dampner? defect of some sort? i dont know , i just know its broken and tsa is calling my name

Ok, so the failure wasn't necessarily by a boom strike... Well, if nothing else, that sounds like an interesting manuver.Team HeliProz - Retired

i dont know if a link popped , or what,. all i know is what i saw ,then heard,,, then the aftermath, i checked my ball links a few flights prior and they seemed to have a lot of grab where it was hard to pop them off by hand,
, i aint sure , nor do i really care to talk about it much more,
my new focus is which kit im buying next, tsa seemed good, but i think the jr forza 700 is where its at

+1 The WOW factor is off the chart.
All the gear will move right across to the Forza. It's very efficient.
I use the E-flite 700X motor but, I think the 600X motor would pull it. And the price is right.

yea gstone, i have the 700 motor , i think at first blade came out with the 600 with another motor, mine is a 500kv , on 12s . so im thinking ill be ok there,, if not for anything then to get me in the air till i can get a beast,
my one and only concern on the forza , is the owb,,, i think its something like $120
that gets me a little funny because i fly alot ( at least 50 flights a weekend weather permitting) sometimes that number could be in a day if i have the lipos,, so i would wear owb out quickly , at least one by end of season ,, and that seems like alot of cash ,, but then again it is a forza

There are two 700 motors, the 500kv, that came in the 600x and a 520kv for the 700x. The first has a much smaller can, but, would probably do the trick. Don't worry about breaking it with power, it is up to the task. It's a JR.
FWIW I fly constantly. It's one of the most trouble free pieces of a mechanical gizmo that I own.

ohh you have one ?? do you have the green or red? also , how was mounting your wiring and all? i heard some people advise to preplan everything to make it as smooth as possible since real estate is low on the forza?going pro , one crash at a time

Red with boom supports
No problems building at all. I try to build "clean" so I always plan my next move. Lots of space for everything. And just to be clear about one thing, JR needs canopy lessons.

They're beautiful.....and one size too small. PITA. The 700 uses 4 posts and it's just a pain. If this is a pet-peeve of yours, it will bug you. I've gotten it down pretty good.
