Rails or RotorTech?
I'm about to order a new set of blades for my x50 but I cannot decide between the Rail 626's or the RotorTech 620 flybarless. I fly easy sport flight, big air, and I enjoy autos. I do not fly 3d whatsoever. I have RotorTech Scott Gray blades on my 700 flybar gasser and love them. I read that the 620 RotorTech feel lighter and more geared for 3d- maybe this was just someone's opinion and not fact? Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Solely based on the underlined, I would go with the heaviest of the two mentioned.

Thanks Pete, I agree. But based on the limited info I have found, they both are 135 - 140 g. This is why I'm having a difficult time deciding. Should I just go for the larger disc area?

Jack I would think by bigger were talking 6mm which I believe would auto better but the bigger part is so small I would consider them the same length so go with which airfoil would auto better. I was checking out the new switch blades which are the old edge blades but have some changes to them. Price seem to be I line with others. I tell you it's hard with so many new blades on the market. Oh I saw a post that Wc wrote about the black belt stick bangersTrex600n,Trex500,MR25,MikadoLoGo5003d/KDE,Goblin 380XNova,CastleCreations,Ys,JR XG8,Tags Mini XBus Dmss//FAA# FA3NYC9TAP

Agree. A 6mm ( 1/4" ) difference for your flying style and mainly heli size/weight may not be noticed. If it was a 450, most likely.

Are they the same cord?
The wider cord will have more bite, auto better and a throatier sound effect.

Given it's a nitro, the flight time won't suffer between the two.

I guess at this point it's a matter of price.

Rail or Rotortech
They are my 2 favorite blades for big air and sport flying (and speed).

Rotortech blade numbers ending in 001 which have angled tips are the big air-fai style ones. Super stable in the wind. The blades ending in 66 are the 3D ones, and the newer are the FBL.

Rail or Rotortech, you'll like them both.
