GPRO Power setup
I have a friend who bought the TREX 600 dominator. Wants a to use a separate regulator to supply voltage to the servos(SG HVX). Can this unit be powered through the servo bus and just disconnect the BEC wire on the CC ESC?

Thanks for help.

For the rest of those who may have similar questions, here is the answer:

This one is easy.

Each of the two lower, horizontal connectors on the GPro have ground on the left, power in the middle. The ground pin is also bussed to the bottom pin of all connectors EXCEPT the two right-most vertical connectors (reserved for the two, three-wire external receiver cables).

The center pin (power)is also bussed to the center pin of all other connectors EXCEPT the two right-most vertical connectors (reserved for the two, three-wire external receiver cables).

Power and ground also feed the internal guts of the GPro, including any satellite connectors plugged into the unit.

Isolate the center red wire from the ESC, do NOT use the internal BEC of the ESC, you don't need it. Plug the connector into the throttle socket.

Route power from the SG reactor to BOTH lower horizontal connector pins. This will power everything, the satellites, the GPro, and the servos.

Applying power to both lower connectors insures that you can supply adequate current to the system as a single standard servo connector is good for only about 5 amps. When inserting the power plugs onto the lower two horizontal connectors, GROUND (black or brown wire) goes to the LEFT.

Never plug power and/or ground into any pin of the two right-most vertical connectors that are used with the two three-wire cables for an external receiver. You'll make bad things happen inside that let out the magic smoke.
