Frequency spec for BLS276SV
Is this servo rated to use at 560Hz? Why is this not listed on the specs for the servo. I realize it is intended for the CGY750 but what about other customer's who want to use this servo and need the specific rating.

760us is the centering pulse.

560hz is the frequency.

They are not the same.

I thought I had seen it listed somewhere but curiously none of the official Futaba listings show it. It is strange that they don't list it. Tempted to put a scope on the signal from my CGY750 to see what the freq. is. I was helping a buddy setup a 276SV on an Ikon and it was getting pretty hot and all the linkages are smooth as silk. Barely ran the heli and it made me wonder if it was the 560hz setting. We tried low gyro gain settings and that didn't help so I guess we will move the sensor somewhere else. Thanks for the replies.

does anyone know the pulse and the frequncy of the bls152?
and do you know if it is the same as the s9452?

as i'm about to remove a s9452 and replace it with a bls152
running on a gy701 in a 1/4 scale heli

If you are replacing the 9452 the settings will be the same. Is that going on the throttle or tail?Scott

Well if it was the servo stalling the bls152 will stop that. Curious why u picked such a slow servo for the tail. What length tail blades? What is the airframe?Scott

BLS152 is a typical 1520us servo. The 701 will automatically set the driving frequency.

i've picked the bls152 for its torque
the speed isn't that important on a big scale heli
as i won't be doing any piroflips with it

Speed is actually what makes the corrections from the tail sensor relevant. If the servo is reacting slow the control loop is less effective. I would guess the bls152 will be fine but there are plenty of strong servos in that price range with much better speed ratings.Scott
