... and he does in Mode II ....
I thought he was mode one and is why he could land it with only his right hand. Mode 1 which has throttle and aileron on the right stick.

[I thought he was mode one ]

just want to ask if he was mode one flyer. I am mode I too, and wondering not many people using mode I now? All my friends flying heli are mode II.

I have not heard back from wjvail or anyone who seems to know for sure . I would guess mode 1 which if true is not a big deal to land with one hand.

You can only do one handed aileron tick tocks and rolls on mode 1, oh and a strap. He flys mode 1.

I guess he flys mode 1 and a strap because hes also a plank flyer.

Sorry folks. I was just joking when I said he flies Mode II - hence the wink and smile. The truth is, I don't know who this is and I don't know what he flies but it's pretty clear to me, he flies Mode I. It's the only way this could be done.

Done in Mode I, it is not that difficult of a trick. He set the heli down to level the disk, picked it up with the right stick, and began to roll the heli - again with the right stick. Now done in Mode II - that would be something! He really would need E.T. fingers to reach across.

There was a time when most of Europe flew Mode I and most of the US flew Mode II. Of course most of the US still flies Mode II but I can't comment on Europe. Someone else will have to set us straight there. Being German I would have assumed he flew Mode I even before I saw the one handed trick.

Again sorry. That turned into a joke gone wrong.
