castle creations phoenix 120 esc help
Hi fellow flyers I have a problem with my ESC. I'm trying to use governor mode I set it up using a castle link adapter. But the problem that I'm getting is when fly my Heli in idle 1 or idle 2. Governor works but as soon as I do hard pitch pumps the rpm drops to like 1100 rpm and stays there until I land the heli, and let the motor stop then I idle up again then its good again. Till I give hard pitch pumps then motor stalls and the rpms don't go back up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's the low voltage or excessive current cut off. Set the current limiting to insensitive and set low volt cut off to 3.0v/cell.

Try the current limiting at insensitive first, if it doesn't fix it and your still on the default 3.2v/cell cut off then it's your packs that are shot.
60% of the time, it works every time!

In addition, look at the castle log to see what the voltage, amps, and power parameters are doing. The logging capability is the biggest value on those units.

If you are having issues and you are not scrutinizing the logs, you are operating in the dark.
