Glad you didn't hit yourself!

I hadn't lost complete orientation in a long long time, until a couple weeks ago myself! Got pretty close to hitting myself too. Darn 450's can move really quick! I was flying fast backwards inverted left to right in front of me and pulled back to do a nice smooth loop and at the top of the loop it all went to heck, next thing I know it's over my head falling right at me! I saved it, but the whole thing was weird! I guess no matter how confident you are you can have lapses!

Be careful!!!

no electronics were damaged so i was lucky and so far ive only had to order 25 bucks in parts
Sorry to hear (see) the crashes.....but glad you're ok....

WoW !! $25 repair bill ??? That's amazing.... when I crash it generally runs an average of about $100......

So, I take it you're planning to glue those blades back together ??

Edit: Oh, I see...... you must have some extra sets of blades laying around so you didn't need to order any..... For me, that's usually the most expensive part of the repair bill......
Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

So glad your not hurt. I remember when you couldn't even get the heli off the ground, just sliding around and baby hops. Now you are really getting some skills at bad azz flying.
A couple of years ago I had my 600 out just hoovering 30 to 60 feet away and 50 feet high and something went wrong and the damn thing came at me like an angry swordsman, went just over my head a couple of feet and slammed into the ground behind me. This was just after I had seen a picture of a head split open by a similar size machine. Boy was I shaking and put that bird away, damage and all and started moving into multirotors.

my videos help me a lot
this happened so fast i would not have known what happened if not for having the video to watch

looks like i was not sure which way to use the elevator and when i attempted to use the elevator i didnt pull it back fast enough hard enough
to flip it back.

and it happened so fast i just knew i got hit i stood frozen for a second wondering where were my injuries .

it was also a lesson for my old lady she loves to be a dare devil camera girl and ive always warned her on how fast a heli could get out of control and she would not have time to run or move out of the way.

camera people should stand some where they have cover behind the pilot
are far far back out of the way behind .

lesson learned.

i know its hard for some of us to share a crash for some reason i felt no shame because i felt my progression had fun and wanted to share.

love you guys you are my brothers and sisters
and i really appreciate your concern and advice .

i will do better i promise
i think i better practice nose in inverted back flips and low altitude flips with the 450 for a while dang it easy trick went wrong

and Big brother EEngineer ill start login my sim time thank you.

This is what happened ....

You have been doing disc in tic tocs and initiate the maneuver with negative collective to push the disc away. Right before the "incident" ... you were nose in (leveled) and initiated with the same command as before when you were disc in but this time the heli was facing you and everything went south.

Nice flight for an overcast day and glad it was minimal damage.

But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger !!
Really..) that was scary.

Hey C here's a tip for you next time when your come almost overhead
Don't panic on the stick, as you cant tell 100% what the heli is doing
[Go into hover mode or full collective,]

if the chopper is inverted you know what to do,

that was close man glad you and the camera man is safe.
you were nose in (leveled) and initiated with the same command as before
it was almost overhead you cant give the right input on a chopper
if you have to look up almost virtual at it.
I was waiting on some honey but there aren't no Queen bee,

I remember the first couple times I flew my 700 for the first time, I don't know man I was just cruising around,it got over my head, scared the crap out of me,it must of been 100 ft up,but seemed like I was raining down on me quickly. I couldn't function and all I could think about how I was gonna just throw my remote to the ground and run away but was to terrified to move lol! I somehow regained my senses and flew it away peacefully lol! Some moments in this hobby will never be forgotten.

Yes it should be much better for everyone! I know KC hates it, but down at the bottoms where is has been held for ever is so small and hard to get too. The stadiums are so easy to goto it's not funny cross roads of two major highways. It's actually one of the reasons Chiefs stadium is still rated the best Football stadium in the world. Yet KC is always trying to get the stadium built downtown guess where? the bottoms. Have fun while it last!
