I'm dialing my engine for the first time. The fan run-out is within .002 at both ends (fan base and tip). The clutch run-out is about .006 on each ear (leaf?). Is this clutch good to use?

Or is an ear measurement not something to be concerned about, due to the springy nature of the clutch?

Worry less about the clutch od. You're better off dialing the shaft to under 0.001". 2 thou won't cut it in many models. I personally never ran a shaft in my Hirobo models over 1/2 thou base or tip, but I'm anal as hell.
