Give it up fanboys
you're just making yourselves look petty
And you are proving that you are one of the worthless thieves...
Has nothing to do with fanboys!

one of the worthless thieves...
Come on man...for real.

How come some companies are always the same ones being "ripped-off".

And other companies never "ripped-off".

We all know to just stay out of certain areas or deal with the consequences.

When you go to a lousy baker to make your cake.........

Don't rail some poor guy on the forum.

(He might have been your next customer, or not)

Sorry, no offense, but be real.

I guess all engine manufacturers ripped off Léon Levavasseur because He had a patent on the first V8 in 1902. Shame on them.

The only way to not crash is up

The reality is that the only people you really hurt by supporting counterfeiters is your fellow hobbyists. If that's not enough to deter it, then there's nothing to be done.

I appreciate everybody's input, I have been an airplane pilot in this great hobby for many years however my foray into helicopters is a little over 3 months old. I have gone from a t-rex 100 up now to a t-rex 550 E and have just encountered my first flybarless set up with my 450. my initial question was as a newbie how to program this so I could safely fly my model. however after listening to the gentleman in this post and now fully understanding what a K-bar mini is I believe the proper thing to do is to ditch the pirated fbl and buy a named brand flybarless unit. I truly appreciate everybody's help and also thank you for your time to impart some wisdom on this newbie

I promise honey..This will be my last helicopter!!!!!

good luck i own 4 kbars bought them from ebay im going to sue ebay for allowing seller to sell me a counterfeit gyro .

if you google the web there are pictures that show the kbar circuit board setup is different then the vbar.

i think if they sold the kbar with the vbar software then they could sue someone for software piracy if the kbar had a website to down load the vbar soft ware from they can sue.

anyone of us could try and make our own copy of a vbar gyro and sell it if people buy it if it works as long as its not exactly the same its totally legal

and calling good people who bought there items legally thieves not cool

WC it's the other way around....If the company who copied the K-bar had to hire programmers to program a software to set-up the K-Bar then you would have to pay much more money for your K-Bar.
You know how much programmers cost? I don't mind if they make other FBL systems. Their are many other FBL systems in the marketing place and no one is saying that they should not make them, because they went and did their own thing with their own software (that is legal competition) and it's fine and accepted by everyone.
If you guys don't understand this then maybe you should go back to school and take a business class or two.

Or.. when you do business with a thief......To try and screw one more penny out of.......
Don't get Butt-Hurt when they "Rob" you. Damn Thieves.
No Honor among thieves.
Bird-of-a-feather...Flock together.
Did business with a thief..got robbed...bummer.
Go there and do more business.
Someone else's fault...always.

There. As long we're calling out the thieves.

Often newbies go to these cheaper sources to get the stuff they understand WILL get destroyed. That's what it takes to learn. A few broken parts later......

They go for the GOOD stuff. It would make great sense to promote anything that resembles "your" product. The Chinese stuff can't compete and you know that. Calm down and WIN a new customer.
HINT, HINT

If you don't run them off first, by calling them thieves. and other things.

Look at the top of this post.....

Pot meet Kettle.

You are robbing this person the chance to do some thing amazing.
You are robbing me a flying buddy.
You are robbing yourself of your next customer.

That is Business101

Funny how you talk about them stealing for Mikado.

I have been screwed, burned, & robbed from by some of the biggest name companies in this hobby.

So I don`t feel to bad about buying a few clones.

Weird. I've never been screwed, burned, or robbed by any company in this hobby. Haven't always received great products, and some have declined to provide replacements where I felt it could have been justified .. but I've definitely never been screwed, burned, or robbed.
