Hello Aashu, could I ask, why are you drilling the shaft in the first place? I do a little bit of machining myself, and I have never drilled a main shaft... just curious.
BTW.. I would drill 2mm dia hole and try to punch it out.. then drill 3mm again from the first side with a drill press (ONLY)... I would be prepared to buy a new one.... you have to use oil when drilling steel. Tough lesson to learn.
All the best.

Reach out to Terry and see if can fix it for you. I have a few of the Secadu Evo mounts he made for the Hatroi muffer a while back and the machining is beautiful.

Drilling a main shaft or other shafts on a heli is not uncommon for the DIY type modeler.... I used to make my own main shafts and tail rotor output shafts back when I flew the Raptors.....same thing with some of the Xcells......

Right hand helix on the drill works against you but it's worth a try.Part 107.

if it is broken on an angle you need to make one side of the V longer than the other.

this may work ?, Ive used the them on broken taps
and this 2 flute version may do the trick.
Good luck, they are available on amazon.com and not too expensive.

Juan... I knew that. I also know that you don't usually drill a steel shaft with a dremel tool (Proxon). I think the project was a failure from inception. Some things, you just have to have the right tools.
