Swashplate suggestions needed
Need to start thinking about a swash plate for my turbine airwolf. The Vario swash is tapped for 3.5mm threaded balls (weird), I want to use heim style joints in lieu of standard ball links, and all heim joints I have found use 3mm bolts (so 3.5mm bolts wont work).

So, being a newbie, I need some help locating a swash for a 12mm shaft, 4 servo, 45 degree offset.

Prefer a swash that is readily available, not really wanting to wait months to get one, or wait weeks for emails to be answered.

I found a Heli-factory swash which seems to be available from Baumann......

Also found SK_Rotorkopf via their website, but not sure if they are responsive or reliable.

Any other manufacturers you can recommend that I can research? Thanks!

Baumann is OK to deal with, although Thomas can be a bit slow to respond to emails. I bought my EC-145 from him.

The SK Rotorkopf stuff looks OK but they refuse to deduct the 19% VAT for non-European customers, so I refused to deal with them.

I bought my head, swashplate & driver from Ludwig Benda and it seems pretty good. I have not flown it yet, but everything looks good and it spools up to max headspeed just fine with no vibes or run-out.

+1 for Thomas, I know him well and his shop is a regular stop whenever I'm in Switzerland.
