yea i got a 550x as well..(two of them ) i really like em, there are a few things wrong ( cano pins , no batt tray , and no shaft support for the motor),, other than that i really like it,, but seeing how the pro is done, once i crash and there arent nomore parts, i will take it apart and use everything but frames, and then make 4mm carbon fiber sheets and cut out my own frame sides, and try to make my own heli ,,, i always wanted to do that and i kinda can for not much money $ 350 in cf stuff ( epoxy,, release agent ,ect ) to make sheets... and its eaither gonna go really well and fly good, or be a boat and blow apart,,but eaither way im up for it,, and i will invite everyone to follow along to see how that turns out,,, i will start a thread,,going pro , one crash at a time

p.s i wanted to do 4mm cf frames because imo i think 2mm is soo weak ,, and blade isnt the only one who uses 2mm frames on big birds,, now i understand the price diffreance but im sure they could source glass filled fiber , carbon fiber,, its a glass filler to make it cheaper,, ok ok , maybe 3mm ,, 4mm may be overkill and a waste ..going pro , one crash at a time
