Guys I have a 500se that I'd like to upgrade the head to new SX spec. Will part number 04637 give me what I need or are there other parts I'll need as well.

The 4637 combo is for the 600 which uses a larger spindle than the 550SE so the dampers wont work. The counterbearing will be for a 6mm motor shaft.

Parts needed to get to make a old 500/550SE using original 205mm mainshaft:
4631 SX hub for old mainshaft
4750 SX dampers
4618 SX blade grip spacer

You can use the new style shorter mainshaft 199mm:
4620 199mm main shaft
4619 SX hub for new mainshaft
4618 SX blade grip spacer

I ended up ordering 04764 Rotorhead upgrade. Pretty reasonably priced for what you get. Used my old grips and spindle for now and I'm pretty sure I used the new dampners. I remember they were really tight. Didn"t have to build any new links so those parts are good spares. The head block and counter bearing were what I was really after. Sorry for not posting my findings for so long
