Has anyone had any luck on the TSA website using the "Contact Us" getting a response back. I have asked a few questions, product related and technical, and never got a response. Thanks.

Try and pm Nigel the owner. You'll have more luck. It's a shame that the brand has lost the momentum it worked so hard to build 2 years ago. I still fly the 700n tho because nothing atm comes close the value and quality of tsa.

Ok, thanks. Really no important questions for TSA. Anyhow I agree, really enjoying my 600n Pro. Thinking of getting the 700n Pro. Quality, fit and finish is superb.

I really like mine (700n pro). I am baffled why they're not more popular. It's a good quality cheap heli. The motor and exhaust is going to cost more than the airframe. I really don't know why more folks don't have one of these as a practice machine, at the very least.

if they were to sell thru more than just one or two websites they would have more market penetration...

they should try hook up with Rons and Esprit.

exposure is one of those thing what makes or breaks a heli company.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

I am not a market expert but I agree on more exposure. I have to say Experience RC and A Main Hobbies has been out of the same parts especially the aluminum tail booms for quite awhile. Also the 600n pro and 700 nitro pro has been out of stock at Experience for quite awhile. My confidence level is down at this point on TSA parts and general restocking times. Really like my 600n Pro but will put off buying another TSA kit until I'm sure that TSA is stable and the two distributors are receiving parts and kits from TSA. Hope I'm not over reacting to the parts and kit out stock situation. Your thoughts?

TSA
THe issue is demand. At present the demand for TSA products appears to be low. No retailer in his right mind would lay in thousands of dollars of stock, if the demand is not there. At the moment, the market is saturated with many brands of helicopters, and most are Chinese. It is up to TSA to do more promoting of their product, and not the retailers so much. My meaning is that the r/c helicopter market is only so large, and there are now more manufacturers than the market needs and or can handle.

Who created the electric heli market?? Bet you don't know. I also believe we are very close to being government regulated. That will mean you can only fly with a license and at a designated site. That alone will reduce the size of the market a large amount. Sorry I got off course.

i can agree that demand is low...

but to that point demand is effected by exposure. People want what they see, especially if you wiggle it in front of them enough the rightway.

all it takes is a hand full of customers needing parts that are never in stock and publically complain to foster doubt in the brand amoung the whole group, leads them to spend somewhere else, then potential new customers would be put off and seek another brand with more support. resulting in less demand

seems they are stuck in a "Catch 22" situation, demand is low due to exposure. cant spend $$$ to increase exposure.

sounds like a dangerous business situation...

newlandb...and 700 nitro pro has been out of stock at Experience for quite awhile.
It's been out of stock at experience for about 2 weeks (for the 700 pro). I let it sit there all winter and no one bought it. So, I grabbed it as a back-up parts-kit. Sorry!

On a side note, I'm checking their stock status a few times a week. I'm curious as to how long it'll take them to re-stock, as well.

looks like TSA has a 30% off sale...

smells like trouble... nobody has that much of a discount during the start of the peek flying season unless something is up.

hope its a promotion to get more out there... not a clean the shelves off before we bury it sale..

This TSA Sale is our Deal of the Week this week, and it is an excellent opportunity to help get kits into the hands of people to fly them. This promo will help show people the quality of the machines and give them extra money to put electronics in them.

We have a parts order that is currently on the way.

I hope this helps explain the sale. We are still supporting the brand and looking forward to seeing their 560 this summer.

Thank you,

Steve

Contact us
You are wasting your time they never get back to you.
Also I can't get any parts in the uk, so I can't sell it

So when I eventually crash it it is going in the bin
This heli was a bad investment.

Hi Stykz,

Are you able to order parts direct from Freakware in Germany, they would be the closest supplier to the UK?

Please let me know. Thanks

Best Regards

Nigel

TSA is alive and well
Contacted Nigel Brown and he says the following.

" We are moving forward with TSA and trying to get on top of our distribution network as the American stores are at times slow with reorders with a big shift to multirotor markets. We are looking at avenues to get stock on hand as there is no short fall at the factory of infusion parts. All is well and we look forward to amending our distribution channels so you all can benefit for ease of purchase."

He also says they are reaching out to A-main & Experience to keep the stocks of spares on the positive side. In the past year I think many of us have noticed a slowdown, a malaise in the hobby, a thinning out of manufacturers and vendors. I find it encouraging that TSA and Nigel will return an email and state in public that they are here and are moving forward. That bodes well for the 2016 heli season.

Thanks TSA and hope to have a fresh heli ready for summer.
