On my FW550, I run two 3s, 2200mah packs in parallel with a flight time of 9 minutes with the 10 inch props. I have run 4s on 9 inch props, but not on the 10 inch ones.

You get a slight weight penalty for running 2 packs vs a 4400 3s pack, but the cost of the 2200 packs make them easy to purchase.

I'm running a 4s 8000mah pack from RMRC on my 550. I get around 15 minutes. Nine inch props.
