Link does not work for me. I am using a Lambda HWS1500-24 Industrial Power Supply to power an iCharger 308DUO. Works great... 1500Watts, 70A, variable 22-28 VDC output.

Bought mine at eBay for around 150 if I recall right. I did a build thread of this charging station at HF.

A few pics of the charging station powered by the TDK Lambda PSU:

The power supply you linked to is only a 12V output, most of today's better chargers require at least 24V to take advantage of their full outputs. You can get a couple of server PSUs off ebay and hook them up in series. You can get a pair of them with approximately the same output as you linked to for about $50.00, I know where my money would be spent.
Haven't checked for a while, but the supply Cyclo used are pretty hard to find now at the low prices they were selling for.

You could get a cheaper Lambda TDK Industrial PSU like the one I got at ebay... They are used but mine was in excellent condition. Here is one going for $175: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TDK-Lambda-...=item25a2081b81

This is the PS
The SWS1000-12 is variable around 12V out @ 88A.

The SWS1000-24 is variable around 24V out at 44A.

So the power output is the same.

Check out the Lambda site for your situation

http://www.us.tdk-lambda.com/

Lambda is an industry leader in PS's....have used them many times in non-heli related apps.

Another PS manufacturer to check out is "Acopian"

http://www.acopian.com/

And you won't go wrong by ordering them from DigiKey.

These two companies produce the latest tech. with regards to "instrumentation grade" PS's.

As was also mentioned, a 24V PS would be better.

44A @ 24V will be better than 12V @ 88A...for your charger.

In addition, since these "instrumentation grade" PS's provide a "slight" adjustment to their output voltage, it's easy to "tune" them to run in parallel if one day you need to "boost" your current output.

Anyway, Lambda or Acopian is a very wise choice on your part...

You get an A++....

Typically you buy the charger and then the PS needed to drive it. Looks like you got the cart before the horse
Either way that PS would be good for a single charger up to 1000W...
