So I have been out of the hobby for a while and was going to dust off my Rappy 50 and go flying, but I remembered my tail servo is bad.

I've been looking around the classifieds for a while and I dont see many people using 9254's anymore? Or at least they arent as prevalent in the Classified section here.

I see some Align Tail servos for sale (DS655) but i'm not sure if they will work with my Futaba receiver? (R127DF)

Also, will my Futaba servo horns fit on the Align servos?

Thanks!

The 9254 was replaced by the BLS254.

With the growth of FBL, most manufacturers added the option to change the tail servo pulse width to 760us. This increased demand for the BLS251 (replacement for S9251) and later, the BLS256HV. These two servos are likely the most prevalent out there for Futaba tail servos.

Align tail servos will work just fine.

Yes, Futaba servo horns have the same spline as Align servos, so you can use them.
