Hi my goose is tail down , Ce aft of the mast is this normal with these gassers , allso the factory landing skid arms are very flexible and the rear one spreads on landing bringing the tail blades close to the ground is this normal for the Ce being well aft , it hovers hands off linear and lands about level ish I am tn the throughs of folding up some skids much like the ec130 with the foil for the rear skid but are the tail down as normal thanks

A lot of big helli are tail heavy, so you have to add some wait up front to get the CG right, what I did is but a second battery, mite as well put some thing youthful out there, even with that I found my tail blades too close to the ground, so I added some spacers between the frame and rear landing gear to get the tail higher, so now all is good.

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!

My Mongoose is also slightly tail down. I have always used the landing gear made of aluminum tubing on mine. I wonder if the landing gear legs were doubled on the back of the heli to help take the load. Like the Bergen twin.
