blame dji for bringing an increase in radical use of apv quads when they held a contest for most unique video captured using their machines a short while ago. Thereby they inspired guys to exceed limitations of law and conscious, SHOOT FIRST ASK QUESTIONS LATER, the knee to the groin is what the FAA and other gov agencies are doing in retaliation to what amounts to nothing more than a GLOBAL NUISANCE at this time, hehe.

(waiver, don't knee anyone any time with one of your members, your personal energy will suffer a sad loss)

The general public tolerance level is very high on so many other things that actually kill people daily, where were we? there's that www, now Who's to blame?

YouTube...
With Youtube, you can allow advertisements or choose not to allow them. This is what the FAA is talking about. I have yet to make a single penny, but the potential is there.

All he needs to do is remove to monetization from each video shot from an aircraft. Yes you can monetize your videos, but you have to have a huge number of hits to make anything but chump change. The adverts that Google(aka grab-ble) inserts cannot be controlled. I do agree with removing the money aspect of flying without a commercial license. If you want to do commercial work, get the license(COA). This has been the way it works forever with the FAA. No need to change now.

Just now, I went to youtube and took the adds off all my aerial videos... they are right, time to comply. No need to send me a cease and desist letter. I don't make any money anyway. It is your sworn enemy that is going to turn you in.
