I have a new Q500 coming.

I have learned that Yuneec is considering adding Waypoint Navigation to the Q500.

Also, Yuneec has a 24 Channel Radio / Ground Station they intend to offer on their new Hexacopter the H920. The Radio is compatible with the Q500 and I have asked Yuneec to make this radio available as a separate purchase, for those who want it and the price is reasonable.

2 Questions with a simple Yes or No answer, this is an informal POLL and I'll record the answers and pass them on to Yuneec.

Question #1:

Should Yuneec incorporate a Waypoint Navigation System in the Q500?

1.) YES

2.) NO

Question #2:

Would you like to see Yuneec offer their 24 channel ground station for individual sale, if the price is reasonable?

1.) YES

2.) NO

Thanks for all your replies.

Yuneec Q500 Poll
Thanks Skymaxquads:

This is what I wanted from more Q500 owners.

If you want change from a company, like Yuneec, you need to let them know what people want.

The new Transmitter / Ground Station is designed or their new H920, but it is compatible with the Q500.

If there is enough interest in both categories, it will help Yuneec make a better decision.

I do believe they will offer Waypoint navigation soon. And hopefully they will either offer the new transmitter for the Q500 in the package or they will sell it separately.

I do need all those who read this post to post their answers, just like you did!

I will pass them on to Yuneec and see if they respond.

Thanks for replying.

YUNEEC WILL NOT DEVELOP WAYPOINT NAVIGATION FOR Q500
I was informed several months ago that Yuneec will not be developing Waypoint Navigation for the Q500 Series Quads. They will also not make their 24 channel radio available for the Q500 series.

For me this is a deal breaker to not purchase anymore Yuneec Products.

#1 Yuneec Q500 has all the hardware needed for waypoints. sad that they wil not put forward the small effort to add that software feature.

#2 Not sure why I'd want that, what would it do that the ST10+ doesn't do.
