Sweet! Let me know if that solves it! Another possible issue is too much tension on the sensor wire. Mostly re-binding though, lol
Team MikadoUSA
nope that didnt solve it i had high hopes lol

only does in when in idle 2 normal and idle 1 no problem
Jeff polisena
Sometimes there are differences in TX trims (pots) that VBar picks up but not seen in trim steps on TX screen . You will not see in flight because the differences are nominal and does not effect flight .
all trims are zero.

seems like it has something to do with the banking when enabled

my 450 had the same issue and i rearranged the banking from 321 to 123
they were out of order in my tx

futaba 8fg
if i let the cyclic sit it drifts but if i move the controls all goes back to normal operation

Yea that's exactly what mine does.... Flies on rails though. Be neat if somebody had the solution to it though. I always thought maybe it had to do with trimming, weather it be in the radio or in the v-bar but never really worried too much because I love the way it performs.

I do...and it still does it....think it's normal.

If you've gone thru the Setup Menu...you should be good to go.

It seems to do it on bank 1 and the aux bank settings, I haven't tried it on 2 or 3.

I usually engage the main batts. on my truck's tailgate....listening to beeps...and waiting for the VBar cyclic twitch(1 for normal and 2 twitches for autotrim)....having TH engaged and at TX lo-throttle.

And then I carry it to the takeoff location.

The gyros must be sensing all sorts of "weird" movements...

Then, TH off....and I spool up....always seems to work...

just what i figured i think im on to something

i think it has something to do with the banking

my trex 450 had the same problem
i fixed it when i rearranged the banking

now the 450 show 100% gain for bank 3 50% for bank 2 and 0% for bank1

but the futaba sbus only allows 50% for bank 3 and 25% for bank 2 and 0% for bank 1

before the banks for the futaba where 2-3-1 now they are like 1-2-3
so i cant fix the 3rd bank lol i did manage to stop the drift in bank 1 and 2 tho so i was able to set the pitch correctly

if i turn of banking no drift issues lol but i gotta have my banks because
im still trying to feel what type style i like so easy with banking

turn off banking and tell us does she drift

and im using bank 0123

tail gyro's act this way on the bench
it's just trying to correct what it think's is necessary

now if the servos were jumping erracticly I would be concerned

is your bank 1 using 0% in the gyro gain menu of your tx ?
if not do so should fix your problem
also make sure bank 2 is 50% gyro gain in the tx and 100% for bank 3

try raising the tail gain and move the model, most times I observed the servo moving.

I wouldn't be too concerned about what happens on the bench as long as it corrects in the right directions.
bank switching to different gains on the bench might be what is causing the gyro to try and correct itself.

if you arm the system in any bank, and don't move the sticks or banks and will remain still

spending time, paying attention
