Tough to get service...loosing faith
I am finding it very hard to get any support for my Graupner radio. I have an MC-20, and one of the hand rests is cracked, I am trying to buy a replacement set, but no one here in the U.S. can get them (or won't) and Graupner in Germany does not respond to my emails. They won't let you buy them direct, because they don't list the U.S. as a country for shipping. I also have a relatively new Graupner charger and one of the fans is noisy. This has very little use so far and now I have to send it back. I am loosing faith in Graupner and German products. I contacted Bavarian with a question about my 3sx and they too have not responded. What ever happened to customer service? I have always been willing to pay more to a company who takes care of their customers after the sale, and that seems to be a problem. I contacted the company I purchased these from and they told me I had to contact another company, and that took two emails and they never responded to the first email and when I talked to them, they said they saw the other email and had no idea why no one had responded. So they told me to contact a different company for service. They also told me I might be able to get the hand rests of a company in Spain! Nice. Sorry about the rant.

I couldnt agree more customer service doesnt seem to be a priority to some companies nowadays.

Try the uk
Try logic rc here in the uk they are VERY good. No guarantees they will solve you particular issue but might be worth a try!

I tried to get some special Robbe SMALL parts. The minimum shipping was about $50 US. The UK will actually airmail stuff to the US cheap.

As far as I know, there isn't anyone here in the U.S. that services the Demon. There are places selling them, but they tell you to contact the company directly if you have any questions.Team Synergy, Team Scorpion, No good deed goes unpunished

So you are saying you've called them on the phone and asked for help?

I've talked to OpenHobby on the phone several times - they bent over backwards with help, suggestions and more.

If you are doing an email tag team, I'd give them a call before becoming more frustrated.

Yes I have called them and they are always very helpful on the phone, but the phone will not deliver the hand rests. Talk is cheap. The last guy I talked to (twice) had promised me a set of used hand rests because he said they could not get me a new set, he promised me some firmware update files and a shipping label to return my battery charger. The rep's name was Mannie Garmy. After two weeks I did not receive anything, not even the firmware updates. I called him again and he promised to address the three items and he sent me the firmware updates, but that was it. This has been months and at least three phone calls, multiple emails and I still have the charger sitting boxed ready to go back and have not had any help with the hand rests. I'm not too concerned about the charger, they don't seem to care if they get it back. It is basically new with just a little noise in the fan when it first starts up. The brand new replacement they sent me does the same thing, so if they don't want it I will keep it.Team Synergy, Team Scorpion, No good deed goes unpunished
