I'm thinking about upgrading my charger and the ability of the 4010 duo to actuate servo's is interesting. Is this ability significant? Can it be used programing digital servos? I'm not really sure what I would use the servo feature for, does anyone use it?

thank

It cannot program digital servos.

You can cycle servos, compare servos for speed and power consumption. You can center servos before installing into the helicopter. The servo cycle travel range and cycle count are adjustable. I like to place servos under a load and compare their speed and battery consumption. I have also monitored their temperatures with a heat gun while they are cycling under load. Because the servo feature allows the resolution to be adjusted I have sorted servos based on their true resolution abilities while under a load. Some servos get pretty notchy when stressed. Some servos really slow down when stressed. Bad pots can sometimes be discovered on appropriate servos.

Do I use it all the time? Nope. Has it been handy? Yep.

I believe buddy Rc may have my servo feature video linked on their web site.

That was the whole point in creating the video for Dale at Buddyrc. There was no information at that time, so I was the test rabbit.
