Just wondering if it's okay to mount the BX to the front angle platform of a TREX 700n which is on an approx. 45 degree ramp angle.

I assume it is okay as it would "see" it as level during power up/initialization.

While I don't know for sure, I would suspect that the gyro would perform best when mounted at 90 degrees to the main shaft axis. I would expect that a 45 degree tilt from the start would really mess it up.

But, I could be wrong!

You are correct. Another member indicated that as well. It's also in the bx manual that it has to be mounted on the same axis etc etc. thanks for the reply. Btw. I am in Sturbridge. We should fly together someday.
