I haven't tried it but I use to fly a G30 and based on the size of the mechanics you are going to need to look for a pretty large kit. I'd say a kit designed for 700 to 800 size blades. You will most likely need to modify or fabricate a mounting system to attach your mechanics in the correct location. Prerequisite would be that you can cut plywood and possibly carbon fiber formers and glue them into the fuselage with Hysol or AeroPoxy. Very do-able. I'd probably start by looking for a Vario fuselage. I think RC Aerodyne might have an 800 super scale kit but it comes with purpose build mechanics and is not cheap.
