Just wondering why the spare (or option) thrust bearing part costs an arm and leg relative to other parts which seem much harder to manufacture?
Is there something mystique about them that followed on from the 90's when thrust bearings were always an 'option item'?
To me they seem ridicously easy to manifacture and should not really even be kit-specific.

I agree, wonder if it is volume related. Way more radial bearings are made vs thrust.

Avid RC and RC Bearings has many of them for a more reasonable price.
