Howdy doody folks! So Ive had my Jayhawk fuse sitting on the shelf for several years and been tied up in learning 3d, I have recently taken interest in getting my scale rig up and flying. Pod and boom as successfully completed 10 flights and I feel it is ready to enter the fuse. however, I am wondering how others are mounting the frames to the fuse, along with would anyone know where i could find some scale details such as a cockpit, radar, winch... and so on. I know not many folks like the 500 size scale helis but it was a perfect buy for a first time scale builder. any help and recommendations are appreciated.

usually you want a wooden platform for which to mount the mechanics. in the case of a 500 size machine, it may just be a lite ply plate just a bit larger than the base dimensions of the mechs, epoxied to the fuse floor. sometimes bracing of the upper frames to the fuselage is necessary for extra stiffness.
as far as small details especially for a 500 size, there may be a few manufacturers out there like vario and rc aerodyne but i like to make all my parts and detailing stuff from scratch. sometimes its easier and cheaper that way.
hope this helps
