It's 10f outside but very windy today, it was colder yesterday but calm, because my 300 back yard bird of choice is feeling under the weather, lol, with possibly a degrading esc I took out my 450 pro2 for a battery, I dislike that everything stops when it's cold outside so the best thing to do is get used to it.

few days ago it was blizzard but turned to wet snow, would have flown until it got wet and I'm waiting for another blizzard day for the files, being stuck indoors will give a dude cabin fever, put on ten layers of clothing and go for a walk, walk it off.

a year or so ago it was -5f, around noon I took lunch and a nice 1hr walk, was sweating about half way through and into the wind so I took my gloves and hood off, just keep moving, truly the fire is in your blood.

magic that's the spirit...icanfly I do have two airframes to put together. A mystery sailplane and a PA Katana MX to build plus I am fixing the landing gear on my turbine. Lots to do but I would rather be out flying.

I have still been flying, but when the temp drops below 25F, I stop. If we get some calm weather and temps above that, I will fly. I have flown a few times this winter already with temps in the upper 20's and low 30's. Last night was 9F with highs today and tomorrow in the teens.

I'm sure if I call the boss lady I could get some interior upgrades lined up for your house if you're bored building airframes. Just trying to help your boredom !!

Well here in Kuwait we are waiting for this moment, winter is our dream season, we can fly, camp and do every thing out door, but we hate summer, so it depends on the place that you live.

I feel what you are feeling because I have been in Ohio Toledo in I know what winter means

Yeah, when it gets below 50 I wear a jacket also.

Below 40 I put on a sweatshirt under the jacket, and break out the TX glove.

Below 30...I ain't effin' flyin'...too old and have too many other things to do for that sh!t.

Brrrrrrrrr....
I think I'll join Ronald Thomas next year.

The last time I flew in the winter I needed a propane torch to warm up the engine before it would start. Then I got fuel on my fingers and froze them instantly that was enough.
not even electrics do well as your lipo's get frozen before you land the gyro works intermittently. you can't use a canopy as it will break trying to put it on or taken off.

Today was -35C and more to follow

spending time, paying attention
