wish I knew.

I would like to get another gasser, but there really is nothing to choose from that is not a conversion of some kind. Airstar and Bergen are not even on my radar for obvious reasons.

My experience has lead me to belive that gassers are either heavy or vibrate... Until they fix those too issues,... I think I'd rather spend it on an electric... the E's have never let me down and have given me nearly zero problems, set them up once and the damn things just work everytime.

Gassers
I am personally waiting on either the TSA, or the Agile 7.2 conversion, or both. The goblin is nice but I was never into them with the body and gear, and it turned out heavy as a gasser in my opinion. Would like a lighter machine close to my whiplash weight so we'll see what comes of the others.

I've been having a good time flying my scale MD500 raptor helibug gasser here off snow as of late. Got some great pics to post but still haven't figured out the new way of doing so yet.. As for my next heli, all I can say is I want to try flybarless. I have accumulated a full flight pack and a beastX through the classifieds over the past few months. Now just waiting for an airframe to catch my eye. I don't know what brand or size it will be yet. I'm partial to ThunderTiger but that leaves my choices limited as far as gas goes unless I want to do another helibug. (OS .15 possible? ) Guess if I saw a clean Raptor90 converted to Flybarless I might, but honestly I'm kinda looking for something newer or different.

Flew today! 16 degrees down to 10, here are some pictures from 3:15 when I arrived, then at 3:40 temp and water starting to freeze, then 4pm temp, then 4:40pm temp and pictures before the last flight, water more frozen, and finally at 5pm after landing, temp had dropped to 10F by then!

Had to suit up with multiple layers, but bare hands were nice and cozy in the radio glove - gotta make that heater!!

Oh my goodness Raja no flying here today it was -13 when I went into work at 1am and by noon it had only warmed up to about +5.... My truck would barely start so flying was definitely out of the question for me Glad to hear you were able to get some stick time in though!

Just for clarification, we do still sell gassers, but only as prebuilt, RTF models.

And I'm out...

I wouldn't mind flying outside but my electronics would freeze up.
-30 C today.

If a model is so complicated that it must be assembled by the company, is it worth it paying the extra for shipping and labour?
and when it crashes what then? ship it back to company?

Bergen has nice model's but just too much $$$ for this guy and probably most as well.

If Century is still supporting gassers why has the V2 muffler been out of stock since October?

Why did they not respond to a single one of the multiple emails I sent asking about it?

It doesn't take 5 month for the boat to cross the Pacific. I gave up on waiting and purchased another brand.

Did someone say my reasons for this change in policy was due to the complexity of the model?
