What batteries for a 600E 6S BL600MX-1220KV?
I want to find a nice 600E flybared heli and run it on 6S with the Align BL600MX-1220KV motor.

On a newer 600E frame (with the sliding battery tray), I think I am limited to around 3300 to 3700mAh batteries.

Is that the typical battery for the 600E with the BL600MX-1220KV?

Or, is there a trick to get a bigger pack installed?

I run a Spider 6S 5300 30C on my 6S 550E (Custom Heli Parts frame)
if you want 6S on a 600E Pro frame you may want to consider 2x 6S 3000 in parallel?

The 550 is a different mounting system from the 600E.
I know that a 5000mAh will not fit the 600E.

My goal is to run a 600E on 1 6S pack with a simple flybared head - old school.

I already have a 600E Pro DFC running 12S - and I am not trying to make a 2nd one.

Question for vintfheli46: How long will the 6S 3300 run the BL600MX-1220KV motor?

Im a scale guy and fly at a lower head speed therefore increasing flight time with a 6S, but usually I fly only 6 to 8 minutes anyway. Also semi symmetrical blades will help as well because they are more efficient and will increase time as well. I could probably get 12 minutes easy.

I am planning to set this up for basic 3D flying using the old-school flybar equipped head.

I plan on running 2100 / 2200 RPM headspeed with a BL600MX-1220KV motor and standard, symmetrical, blades (Cyclone is the brand of choice).

All the newer 600E frames use the sliding battery tray system and the limit seems to be 3300mAh / 3700mAh. Anything bigger jams between the frames.

This works okay for me.
My 600E DFC uses two, 6S 3300mAh (12S) and I can use these in a 600E 6S.

So, I guess I can expect around 4 to 5 min on a 6S 3300mAh setup.
