Mcpxbl is dying
My trusty MCPXBL hits VC very early. Thought it was the batts but they still show good volts. This thing has a LOT of time on it. Do motors slowly die? Is there any way it could be something else?

If it has a lot of time on it I would check for bad solder joints, bad connections, broken strands of wire inside insulation (causing high resistance) that can't be seen, or bearings.

It was in fact the batteries. Got new ones and it's as powerful as ever.

Yeah I've found that these little batts last maybe two seasons. New batteries every indoor season is the way to go.To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Fwiw...

Check the battery connector going to the board. I have had these wear causing similar symptoms.

John.
